The switch for flamenet-messenger-android!129, in the conversation menu beside the disappearing-message timer, with a line under the header while it is on.

  • the switch asks rather than asserts: what it shows is re-read from what the peer echoed, so it never claims the conversation is off the record just because it was requested
  • the echo lands during a poll, not while the menu is open, so the open conversation re-reads the setting there as well; without that the banner would lie until the chat was reopened
  • group and remote-address conversations have no peer id and this is a one-to-one setting, so it reads false for them

Verified: OffTheRecordTest 8/8 (two new), compile clean, ktlint counts identical to main on both edited files.
