Adds an Issues and merge requests section to CONTRIBUTING.md: one issue per
thing in the repository where the fix lands, cross-project references
(paulhitt/flamenet-e2e#1) rather than restating, <issue>-<slug> branches, and Closes #N in the MR body.
Documents the six labels now present in all four projects, and three rules that
come straight out of what this survey found:
accuracy outranks the rest — a page that overstates what we protect is worse
than a missing feature, and the fix goes in the direction of claiming less.
unwired is not a nice-to-have. Sealed rosters, group names and delivery
capabilities all landed in the engine before any UI called them.
Closes #N resolves against the repository you pushed to. This commit
was first written into flamenet-e2e by mistake, where #5 is a different
issue; nothing errored. Check git remote get-url origin before committing.
Also says what an issue should carry: evidence over impression. 4 plaintext, 0 sealed rather than "groups may still be plaintext", plus the command that
re-checks it.
Closes #5
Adds an **Issues and merge requests** section to `CONTRIBUTING.md`: one issue per
thing in the repository where the fix lands, cross-project references
(`paulhitt/flamenet-e2e#1`) rather than restating, `<issue>-<slug>` branches, and
`Closes #N` in the MR body.
Documents the six labels now present in all four projects, and three rules that
come straight out of what this survey found:
- `accuracy` outranks the rest — a page that overstates what we protect is worse
than a missing feature, and the fix goes in the direction of claiming *less*.
- `unwired` is not a nice-to-have. Sealed rosters, group names and delivery
capabilities all landed in the engine before any UI called them.
- `Closes #N` resolves against **the repository you pushed to**. This commit
was first written into flamenet-e2e by mistake, where `#5` is a different
issue; nothing errored. Check `git remote get-url origin` before committing.
Also says what an issue should carry: evidence over impression. `4 plaintext, 0
sealed` rather than "groups may still be plaintext", plus the command that
re-checks it.
