Publishing was three steps done by hand and only two left a trace. The gate goes on the manifest — the step that cannot be skipped, because it is what the in-app updater reads. It matches the versionName read out of the APK against the /releases changelog in the relay repository, which is also where the checker lives so the schema has one home.
Proven on a real APK in all four states: covered, uncovered (stdout stays empty — no half-written manifest), FN_SKIP_RELEASE_NOTES=1, and no relay checkout. All gate output is on stderr; this script's stdout is the manifest.
Needs flamenet-relay!62, which adds Scripts/covers-android.py and the per-platform versions it matches on.
